Bookshop founded in 1945 by the widow of Louis Torcatis, a member of the French Resistance who fell victim to gunfire in 1944.
Today, it's a large bookshop with 600m2 of floor space, part of the Perpignan identity.
It offers a choice of over 50,000 volumes.
On the first floor, literature, poetry, humanities, regional history, fine books and a fine collection of Pléiades.
On the second floor, children's books, comics, creative activities, health and travel books, while on the top floor, a large room hosts numerous meetings and book signings.
The bookshop takes part in and organizes an incredible number of on-site events: livres en voix... but also off-site: Salon de Collioure, Camp de Rivesaltes, literary lunches at the Perpignan mediatheque, comic book festival.
