The Centre is located a hundred metres from Perpignan station, an emblematic site in the Dalinian universe. In a former warehouse that has been renovated and transformed, century-old wooden beams mingle with modern glass and metal, creating an original contrast.
The Centre's aim is to showcase artists from a wide range of backgrounds, from the local, national and international scenes, through solo and group exhibitions.
It does not restrict itself to a particular conceptual approach, but is interested in a variety of media: sculpture, painting, drawing, video, installation, performance, sound, etc.
The Centre aims to create a friendly, stimulating and educational space for the public through a programme of exhibitions and various artistic events such as lectures, workshops, concerts, catalogue presentations and screenings.

Contemporary Art Center, located 100 meters from Perpignan train station, in a renovated former warehouse.
Long before the inauguration of the Centre d'Art Contemporain in 2004, the original and symbolic idea of creating a collective collection germinated in the mind of the structure's original designer Vincent Madramany. The bold proposal was based on the premise that art lovers, potential collectors, enthusiastic neophytes or enlightened connoisseurs would agree to pool their acquisitions of artworks, their prefered ones, in view to create a joint artistic fund.
